Cretan Boutari is the first wine to leave the borders of the island and showcased the potential of local white varieties as well as the possibilities of the Cretan vineyard to the general public.

Flavor Profile
Bright white-yellow color with intense aromas of white flowers and fruits, such as peach, apricot, pineapple and mango. Very good balance, mild flavor, pleasant acidity and long aftertaste.
Winemaking
The grapes are hand-picked and then chilled. The crushing is carried out with a very fine pressure. The presses are kept completely separate. The free juice runs at a very low temperature to obtain high-purity juice without the use of filtering aids. The alcoholic fermentation takes place with selected yeast strains at a maximum temperature of 18C.
