Agiorgitiko Boutari is one of the most popular wines of the homonymous red variety Agiorgitiko, which is grown almost exclusively in the Nemea zone, in the Peloponnese.

Flavor Profile
Intense red color with a rich aromatic character of black fruits, such as cherry, sour cherry and plum, framed by botanical notes. A wine with rich structure, balance and a soft aftertaste.

Winemaking
The grapes are vinified at the winery using the classic red winemaking method, but increasing the contact time of the juice with the marc for better extraction of pigments and tannins. Malolactic fermentation follows, essential for reducing the acidity and harsh taste of fresh wines. After the end of malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in a tank with the fine lees until bottling.
